As an Admin, you can cancel your subscription at any time from the web app. Here’s how to:

  1. Go to Sketch, log in as an Admin and click on the Switch Workspace icon in the top left corner of the sidebar — Make sure your Workspace name is showing.
  2. Click on the Settings icon at the top of the left sidebar, then click on Billing.
  3. If you added your billing details at sign up, click Cancel Subscription and confirm your choice in the window that will appear on your screen.

Note: If you did not add billing details at sign-up, you can either let the trial period automatically cancel on the end date or delete the Workspace. If you want to delete the trial Workspace and your user account, please follow our guide to deleting your account.

What happens when I cancel my subscription?

When you cancel your subscription, you’ll continue to have access to Sketch until the end of your billing period. The confirmation prompt will provide the exact end date. After cancellation, your documents will be in read-only mode, and you’ll still be able to download them for up to 90 days. Editors within your Workspace will no longer be able to open, edit, or upload documents. Additionally, you won’t be able to add or edit members during this period.

Will my documents stay in my Workspace forever?

We’ll permanently delete your Workspace and all documents 90 days after the cancellation or expiration of your subscription; these actions cannot be undone. For more information, please refer to our Terms of Service and the article about expired subscriptions. If you delete your Workspace manually in the meantime, the documents cannot be restored.

What if I change my mind?

You can reactivate a cancelled or expired subscription within 90 days from the cancellation or expiration date only, and so long as you have not manually deleted your Workspace in the meantime.
