Setting up SAML SSO

Here’s a quick guide on how to set up SAML SSO both in your Identity Provider (IdP) and in your Workspace.

If you already have a Workspace, make sure SSO is available for setup by clicking on the Settings Adjust properties icon at the the top of the sidebar, then clicking on the Single Sign-On option. If you’re creating a new Workspace, you can make SSO available by adding your credit card info, and selecting Business plan;

These are the three steps that you’ll need to follow to set up SAML SSO:

  1. Choose a shortname and gather the information to set up SSO in your IdP: first, you’ll need to go to your Workspace Settings, where we’ll give you the setup values you’ll need to configure your IdP.
  2. Once you have the values, you’ll need to set up SAML SSO in your IdP — you’ll find the instructions to do so for different IdP providers below.
  3. Lastly, you’ll need to finish setting up SAML SSO in your Workspace. You’ll have to import the IdP metadata that you got in the previous step in Sketch.
